Tony,

I saw your ad in the BAVC job site and thought to myself, how can I apply my years of experience on the road including the Sunday Morning Ride, a couple of dozen laps at Laguna Seca, adjusting the valves on my Honda CB1100F about 30 times over 155,000 miles of riding in everything from desert to snow, racing a fellow rider down to Muir Woods - me on my Suzuki DR350S and he on his ZX-11 - I won,  and a 7000 mile road trip in the Northwest?
Well this does look like fun and if you pay somewhat more than KTSF I'd like to be on your list of editors - even as a PA in a pinch (sound, lighting, etc.). I still like doing production work but my main love is editing.  I also have some local connections as well to some racers, techs and other riders.

I can do everything from segment editing to show assembly, including audio sweetening and color correction. I am, after all, old school.  A lot of stuff I can do on my own if needed as I often work as "preditor". I can send you a demo but I also have some videos online via one of my more recent clients, Symantec, for whom I've done a number of customer reference videos. Pretty dry stuff but you should look at it anyway.  I recently  worked on the first season of "Stir TV" for KTSF. Some of those segments are on my demo reel.
Links for Symantec videos:

BankAnnapolis,  Eumetsat,  Medway Council,  Osterreichische Post AGThe Weather Channel

For style  I am very 'verite' oriented.  Live sound helps to make the story. Good action and good sound bites make good story.By the way,  I did another Symantec  piece on  Renault and their F1 racing team although that one is not online. I can add it to my demo reel if need be.

Feel free to give me a call at any time.

Yours,
Marcus Pun
