I am writing to inquire about the Assistant Video Editor/Motion Graphics position that was advertised recently on B.A.V.C. The position description sounded very intriguing and is complimentary to my education, experience and future goals as a video/film production professional. My most current experience has been editing on a student run cable access TV show, called Studio One, as well as, working with documentary filmmaker Tom Shepard (who won Best Documentary at Sundance in 2003) on his new film. I’m a graduating senior with a B.A. in Broadcasting & Electronic Communications at San Francisco State University, with a focus on post-production technologies. I have several years of experience in video/film production and possess solid post-production skills. As an Assistant Video Editor/Motion Graphics with your organization I would bring a focus on quality, creativity, and attention to detail.
